DIY painted piano! Used Valspar chalk paint in Opera Gown. No sanding! Just wiped it down! Took and hour and half! Instead of using tape to paint around the keys… I cut a piece of cardboard from a cereal box, pushed the keys down, inserted the card board in between keys and wood and it gave me a clean line while protecting the keys from paint! Then slid the cardboard down the piano and repeated steps until done! Easiest thing I have ever painted! I thought it would take super long and be hard!

While exploring through the deserts in west Texas several years ago, I came across this lovely gem. It had obvioulsy been out there a long time within the elements judging by state of the bones. I brought the skull home and cleaned it up as best as I could. I kept going back to it, exploring all the beautiful layers of bone that were exposed. Just a source of immeasurable wonder! I added a preserved floral crown using various Roses, Peony, Sola, Silver Brunia, Dusty Miller, Privet Berries, Felci Fern, and Tear Drop Eucalyptus.
