DIY painted piano! Used Valspar chalk paint in Opera Gown. No sanding! Just wiped it down! Took and hour and half! Instead of using tape to paint around the keys… I cut a piece of cardboard from a cereal box, pushed the keys down, inserted the card board in between keys and wood and it gave me a clean line while protecting the keys from paint! Then slid the cardboard down the piano and repeated steps until done! Easiest thing I have ever painted! I thought it would take super long and be hard!

Our Home Decor
While exploring through the deserts in west Texas several years ago, I came across this lovely gem. It had obvioulsy been out there a long time within the elements judging by state of the bones. I brought the skull home and cleaned it up as best as I could. I kept going back to it, exploring all the beautiful layers of bone that were exposed. Just a source of immeasurable wonder! I added a preserved floral crown using various Roses, Peony, Sola, Silver Brunia, Dusty Miller, Privet Berries, Felci Fern, and Tear Drop Eucalyptus. The color palette is a deep Raspberry, Cappuccino, Ivory, Antique Pink, Olive Green, Silver Blue, and Navy Blue. Measurements: 13w x 11d x 13 h Please read my shop policies before purchasing. Just print off any picture you want, then spray paint a piece of wood black, cut the picture to match the size of the wood. Using Mod podge coat the wood then lay the picture on top. Once it has dried thoroughly, use sandpaper to rough up the edges, then put a layer of mod podge over the picture. paint some eye hooks and use pretty ribbon as a hanger and voila
